G21–3.8-9.   ‘‘Yaku-Doshi’

In Japan, ages that are multiples of 12 are considered to be the bad-luck, and people of the age go to shrines where cleanse the evils. I think that quite a lot of people go there and get amulets while saying, ‘It's such a superstition’.
