My story

Since I was a child, I’ve loved seeing the various shapes created by the wrinkles on piles of clothes, on bed sheets, stains of walls, and so on.  Most of them look like creatures and I enter their world immediately when I found them.

There are some imaginative creatures that I’ve never forgotten in my life. One of them is a child demon with a big horn on the top of his head and plump cheeks.  One day, I found him on the surface of a wardrobe that my mum brought when she married my dad.  My sister and I, who were tomboys, touched it a lot with dirty hands and feet, which caused stains on her precious furniture! Sorry mum.  One of several stains was in the shape of a child demon.  He was looking down with his eyes closed, faintly and embarrassingly smiling.  I saw him every day and night, then he became my close friend.  Time went by and one day, when I was unwillingly taking my prescription I was surprised to see that the pill blister pack gave rise to the shape of a creature. I started making something with the packs and came to look forward to the time of my prescription.

Now I enjoy the moment when creatures appear on the packs, yes, every day.  I imagine their world and portray it on a small disc. Once the creature is placed on it, their world begins to breathe.

I think a lot of people have any similar experiences to me but they may have forgotten in their busy lives.  So I hope my work will help you remind yourself of what you’ve seen before, or lead you to your own imaginary world, just like me suddenly met them.
